Candidate Profile

You are someone who possesses the following experience and credentials:
  • • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, required or MBA is preferred
  • • At least 5 years prior experience in treasury and accounting functions required
  • • Strong analytical skills and ability to detect and resolve accounting issues;
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (skills in using Pivot tables);
  • • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • • Knowledge of natural gas industry preferred.

Activities

Your missions as a Treasury Supervisor include:
  • Responsible for day to day supervision and development of the treasury team
  • Approves and Releases Wires daily, and ensures accurate daily cash forecasting to the Holdings Treasury team for the various entities
  • Ensures the timely and accurate completion of all processes and procedures of Treasury, and looks for improvements and efficiencies in processes and reporting
  • Manages vendor callbacks and banking information updates in the treasury master data
  • Proactively manages the relationships with finance management, ensuring high priority issues are escalated in a timely manner
  • Oversees the daily management of aged debt reporting and analysis with Back Office
  • Manages the treasury relationship with TotalEnergies treasury support team
  • Prepares the monthly Net Past Due Exposure reports and analyses and addresses open items throughout the month with Back Office
  • Ensures they act as a model for respecting the fundamental controls of treasury activities
  • Prepare quarterly and annual audit requests as needed
  • Support Financial Controller on various projects or Ad Hoc requests as required

DIMENSIONS

The general accounting supervisor plays a key role in consolidating all financial information in the accounting ledgers of the 3 trading and LNG Business Units and entities in the US, and is responsible forecasting & control of cash including ensuring that all trading and G&A AP settlements are made securely and in accordance with payment terms. 

This role supervises the Treasury Analyst and the Contract Treasury Analyst.


PURPOSES
  • Application of Total policies, IFRS to accounting records for all business activities and entities 
  • Execution of daily treasury processes for the companies 
  • Compliance with internal and external audit requirements

TGPNA is responsible for the Company’s natural gas, power, LNG, NGL, Petcoke and Sulphur trading and marketing activities in North America, and was the largest exporter of LNG from the US in 2021.
