1. Purpose, basis for processing collected data and storage period

When you use the website, you are likely to provide us with some personal data (e.g. name, CV, cover letter, qualifications) so that you can benefit from the services offered by the website and we can respond to your requests for information. 

Your data is processed for recruitment purposes and the following legal bases:

  • The legitimate interest in processing cookies used to authenticate users in the Personal Account area of the company's recruitment site. 
    • Retention of Personal Account: Two years after the last login 
  • The contractual nature of the pre-contractual measures for receiving and classifying applications sent by the user from their Personal Account. 
    • Retention of applications: Up to three months after the final closure of the position 
  • The user's consent if they want their application to be retained in a "pool" for other positions at TotalEnergies. 
    • Retention of applications held in the "pool": Two years after the user's last application 

In our online forms, mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. If you do not answer the mandatory questions, we will be unable to provide you with the requested service(s).

2. Recipients of the data

In order to process your personal data as provided for in this Charter, said data may be passed on to certain departments within the Data Controller's company or to TotalEnergies companies. It may also be passed on to certain service providers or subcontractors, including external recruiters, solely for the purpose of applicant selection and recruitment, or providers in charge of the technical management of the application portal.

If you post a comment online, some of your associated personal data may be published on the website. Given the characteristics of the internet, where information is freely collected and disseminated so it is difficult or even impossible to control how third parties use it, we recommend that you do not enter your personal data in this field. 3. Data transfers

Any transfer of data to a third country outside the European Economic Area is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations and in such a way as to ensure adequate data protection.

As part of the services provided on the website, your data may be transferred to TotalEnergies companies located outside the European Union.
