Candidate Profile

 Successful candidate must have the following requirement:

• Previous experience in Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPPP) Project Bidding, Award to Financial Close, Community engagement
• A minimum 3-years in stakeholder engagement at a Provincial and/or Municipal government level, with exceptional community relations skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
• Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.

Activities

The main purpose of this position is to actively engage with the community and with the Employer to highlight areas of concern and opportunities in a timeous manner.

• Local stakeholder relationship management
• Represent all required community meetings
• Assist with Grievance deliverables
• Dispute & strike resolution
• Identify any community risks
• Assist with Local Procurement deliverables
• Assist with Job Creation deliverables
• Assist with Economic Development report deliverables
• Assist with Project Steering Committee deliverables
• Assist with local community programmes as required
• Raise positive awareness and assist with relationships to stakeholders, community leaders and business
• Economic development on-site with EPC and Subcontractor adherence and liaison
• Economic development on-site with EPC and Subcontractor internal audits
