Candidate Profile

  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Chemical Process Technology / Chemical Engineering
  • Expertise: Minimum of 3 year of relevant working experience preferably with supervisory experience
  • Skills: Demonstrate leadership skills. A team player with good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with oil & gas testing as per ASTM method. Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 quality systems
  • Able to work on the weekly rotating shift

Activities

HSEQ
  • Perform blending failure investigations to determine the root cause and preventive actions
  • Monitor marginal pass blending quality trend to prevent failure at blending & filling
  • Responsible for Measurement System Analysis (MSA) study plan, coordination, regular review & analysis. Ensure the satisfactory result and implement necessary actions to improve the result
  • Perform investigation on customer feedback and complaints related to quality issues which are locally produced and provide satisfactory response in a timely manner as well to generate the report for customer.
  • Ensure the testing performed by the team is compliant to WI/SOP, IATF 16949 (Automotive QMS) and ISO 9001
  • Ensure HSEQ rules and guidelines are adhered in the lab
  • Ensure availability of the shelf life for all the packed additives
  • Responsible for the coordination & management of the packed additive shelf life extensions
  • Perform validation of QM Inspection set up for material extension in SAP
  • Ensure the contaminant code & compatibility family of all the products codes are correct & up to date in SAP MM
  • Author & update the workflow/process related work instructions. Ensure it is implemented with the training of the lab technicians
  • Assist to perform trial blends for product development work. Ensure the optimal formula in accordance to specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in Operational Excellence projects


Lab Operations
  • Supervise 2 lab technicians in all laboratory works including day to day operations, maintenance of laboratory equipment and keeping a clean work environment using 5S methodology
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of NPT (Registered Lubricant number) samples for Indonesian market
  • Coordinate the samples collection by external labs & ensure the release of the test result to the lab
  • Ensure adequate manpower to support the lab operations
  • Work together with chemist for equipment troubleshooting and escalate any equipment issue & any other unusual occurrence to chemist
  • Assist to coordinate with external vendors on the repair works, preventive maintenance, and any other routine/non-routine jobs when necessary. Ensure the work is completed as required
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with blending supervisor, filling supervisors, & planners to resolve any operations issues
  • Assist in routine and non-routine samples analysis in the event of manpower shortage
  • Ensure the team performs the routines QC samples, HSEQ, equipment maintenance checklist and all other necessary checks according to WI/SOP
  • Monitor and ensure the timely consumption of balance oil & non-conforming product
  • Maintain 5S and proper housekeeping of the laboratory
  • Performed duties as assigned by Lab Manager

  • Maintain high level of motivation and team spirit through effective communication, fair work allocation, and constant engagement with team members and co-workers
  • Provide adequate trainings to technician to perform their tasks and for their developments.
