Profil du candidat

  • Business Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience gained in a petrochemical sales environment. 
  • Understanding of TMSA Network and supporting functions business models and processes. 
  • A project background and the ability to work with project management tools would be advantageous 
  • Demonstrated skill in working across multiple business divisions/departments to ensure the successful delivery of projects 
  • Knowledge and deep entrenchment of TotalEnergies ambitions and values as well as roadmaps, including TMSA’s policies and procedures 
  • People Management & Communication Skills. 
  • English is the working language.

Activités

The Retail Sales Project Manager manages the implementation of key projects and/or initiatives on behalf of the Retail Sales division: 

  • This role will act as the deputy for the Retail National Sales Manager and will be required to drive key projects and initiatives to completion; Role includes managing the project pre-approval process including required resources and budget where applicable.
  • Ensure a detailed project tracking document is developed to be able to provide ongoing visibility to Retail management team on project progress versus the agreed deliverables. 
  • Set up and manage the monthly project meetings for the Retail Sales division 


Key projects as of 2024: 

  •  D10 implementation o Inactive sites 
  • Site Segmentation update project 
  • CODO contracts; oversee, assist and track the signing of all new CODO agreements in 2024 
  • SALSA Case management o ULP 93 product rationalization review 
  • Manage the inter-department relationships (within Retail) and inter-divisional relationships (within TMSA) to ensure the successful completion of key projects.
  • Play a key liaison role with the NDC executive; Assist in planning and setting up of the bi-annual NDC meetings together with SFS division and ensure the RDC calendar is in place through close co-operation with the relevent RSM’s. 
  • Act as the Retail Division liaison for the DMRE by developing key relationships within the organisation; Develop the stakeholder mapping together with TMSA corporate communications/strategy team to ensure that TMSA is managing key relationships at all levels within the DMRE (National and Regional) to assist TMSA with implementation of its Transformation commitments and support the timely issuing of retail licenses. 
  • Weekly tracking of inactive sites – play the important role of lead for Retail Sales in the regular Inactive site meetings; Drive the various support functions and RSM’s to ensure that inactive sites are brought back on line as quickly as possible; Work with Retail support functions to properly forecast for sites that will become inactive due to technical or other planned reasons. 
  • Become the HACCP champion for Retail sales; Collaborate with SFS division and the RSM’s to implement the agreed food safety strategy; Track the implementation of the key actions by site to close the identified HACCP gaps; Visit selected sites to reinforce the HACCP fundamentals and check on progress versus committed actions. 
  • Become the Retail Sales champion for TEMPO; Follow up with RSM’s and TM’s on progress versus completion commitments; Work with the Business Support Optimiser team to complete the required P&L benchmarking exercise and monitor site performance versus this benchmarking based on the agreed segmentation. 
  • Identify potential site development opportunities through the course of his/her daily duties through collaboration with the Network development team • Assist the Retail National Sales Manager to monitor the level of GMVE and NCA by customer, by Region – provide regular analysis and potential interventions as required. • Assist in the process of Sales Forecasting per customer through visibility of the RSM/TM’s input into the designated forecasting tool – ensure that any marketing and/or business intelligence is reported to ensure accurate forecasting at site level. 
  • Make regular station visits with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers (minimum of 30% of time to spent in the field). • Become the SALSA Champion for Retail Sales – monthly tracking of national and regional performance against the key KPI’s by working closely with the Retail Key Users; Introduce new learnings and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with business processes developed centrally and deployed by the regions.
  • To manage the costs related to a specific project where applicable and report on variances. 
  • Develop the tool and track the Retail contract expiry schedule to ensure TM’s are proactively managing the contract renewal process on both CODO’s and DODO’s. 
  • Act as the champion for tracking the Retail division performance on Perfect Day together with the relevent HSE stakeholders 
  • Act as the lead for consolidating and managing the reporting on Dry sites for Retail sales by working closely with the respective RSM’s and the TMSA Transport division. Assist in compiling the weekly Retail feedback for the Supply meeting by aligning with the Transport division on the reasons for Dry sites and the agreed actions


HSSE

  • To effectively manage and minimize HSSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring:
  • Compliance with all HSSE Policies, rules, guideline and legal requirements; Including HACCP enforcement and monitoring 
  •  Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies; 
  • That HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibility


Governance: 

  • To ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management, for area of responsibility. 
  • To ensure Procurement Policies and procedures are adhered to especially with regards to goods or services received, within specified sales region 
  • To ensure business rules for Asset Management are adhered to, the monthly AUC report is acted upon and the Asset survey is completed.

  • The role of the Retail Project Manager is complex, having to manage various key Retail projects and initiatives simultaneously within a changing and volatile environment. The person needs to build internal relationships for the support required and work cross functionally in order to achieve goals
  • The person is required to be able to present project status/outcomes to senior managers within TMSA 
  • The person is required a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills to deal with complex projects and potentially changing timelines
