Candidate Profile

  • Graduate from an engineering or business school
  • At least 8 years’ experience with a proven specialization in LNG, covering supply, infrastructure, shipping and related contracts.
  • You have conducted complex negotiations - preferably LNG purchase and sale contracts and other LNG-related contracts (e.g. terminal use agreements, time charters, etc.) 
  • Fluent in French and English


The Marketing & Services Branch (M&S) brings together the commercial activities of the TotalEnergies Company. We offer our private and business customers a wide range of innovative, high-performance, energy-efficient multi-energy products and services to optimise their mobility experience or their business. A global network of multi-energy service stations, hydrogen, lubricants, bitumen, gases, specialty fluids, fuel additives and solar photovoltaic electricity. Our diverse and agile teams help make M&S a major player in the energy transition for mobility.
Within M&S, TotalEnergies Marine Fuels is the business unit responsible for bunkering activities worldwide. It is the single point of contact for a full range of solutions with innovative and efficient bunkering services.
In this context, we are looking for a LNG Bunkering Business Developer whose tasks will be the following
Key account management and customer origination
  • Maintain close interaction with key customers and support them in their needs
  • Build relationship with new potential customers. 
Development of innovative LNG bunkering offers and expansion of the LNG bunkering network
  • Develop tailored made LNG bunkering offers (tenders or bilateral negotiation)
  • Oversee the development of new hubs by leading project organisations
  • Design with the other team members, the entire logistics contractual chain
  • Negotiate/oversee the negotiation of the LNG contractual chain
  • Combine LNG and bio-methane to ensure the long-term viability of LNG for bunkers
Lead negotiation of LNG long-term sales agreements with customers (SPA)         
Monitoring of profitability and robustness of the entire contractual chain of your projects
  • Build the investment cases related to your projects
  • Prepare risk and liability analysis and liaise with all the relevant internal entities
  • Proactively participate in the improvement of our master sales and shipping contracts and contribute to all internal brainstorming on pricing and contracts
  • Negotiate back-up agreements with other LNG/Bunkering  suppliers
